Volunteer With Us

Interested in getting involved with Lewisham Cyclists? We have plenty of jobs that need doing to keep this group running or if you’re very time-limited just turn up to one of our weekly rides for an enjoyable sociable outing.

Just an hour to spare every few weeks or so?  No problem. Whatever your skills, there will be something you can do. Check the list below and please get in touch – Alex, Jane and Tim (LC Committee)

Lewisham Cyclists Facebook Group is public so you can join that directly in Facebook.

If you want to join one of our WhatsApp or Slack groups please email us on lewishamcyclists@gmail.com

Recent successful campaigns include the completion of Cycleway 4 into Central London and the under-construction cycle lanes on Deptford Church Street. We are making good progress but we need more volunteers to help make things happen much faster.

Cycle path maintenance and general DIYWe occasionally do maintenance along cycle routes in Lewisham – cutting back small areas of vegetation overgrowth or re-aligning cycle route signs that have been knocked out of alignment. We also sometimes need help doing basic DIY in our bike workshop location(s).
