Get out on Your Bike, Lovely Weather. Even the Rain Feels Good

See, here are a few Lewisham Cyclists enjoying our wonderful Peaks of Lewisham ride.  The 2012 version anyway- gazing at the stunning view from Telegraph Hill, the first of many on that particular ride. I am more than a little annoyed that I forgot my camera this year, because the views were probably the best we have had yet.  Magical, setting sun casting it’s ever deepening golden glow over the towers and gleaming spires London style.

Peaks of LewishamIf anyone came on that ride has photos they could send me, I would be so grateful.

Later that evening, I did take my camera to the Midsummer Madness Ride- leaving Greenwich at 2am we headed up to Primrose hill primrose hill

to watch the sun rise on the longest day of the year, via the friendly mayhem of Soho and a quick burst of caffeine, Bar Italia style.  The calm rising of the sun as that just before dawn stillness drifted by  was a wonderful way to almost end the working week.bar italiaThese two events were both part of our busy Bike Week which I hope you enjoyed as much as we did.  Good to meet so many Lewisham cycle commuters at our bike breakfast on Eddystone Bridge.  I hope to see many more of you at sometime in our packed programme of rides for the summer which has just begun firming up nicely on our Rides and Events page.  Something for everyone from the flat road loving pootler to the rough tough off roaders and hill lovers.  Check it out now.
