We headed out through Ladywell Fields, to Catford and then back roads to Beckenham Place Park on a beautiful morning. Beckenham, West Wickham flew by under blue skies. Soon we were heading up Corkscrew Hill to Layham Rd, through fields and hills in place of built up streets. 15 at Cutty Sark Gardens on a dull, grey morning, rode off up through Greenwich Park and out on to Blackheath to begin our tour of some of South East London’s beautiful parks. We feel this is a real cop out from TfL, an admission that they don’t have the vision or will to make Lewisham’s junctions as safe as they should be.
