We’ve recently compiled a map showing cycling infrastructure improvements in Lewisham that we will be campaigning for in 2021. Planned CPZ expansion in Lewisham

Lewisham Council are planning to accelerate their Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) deployments across the borough. We very much welcome these plans as uncontrolled parking is blighting many areas of the borough. Catford and the South Circular

Sadly, yet another person has been seriously injured on the stretch of the South Circular Rd that runs through Catford Town Centre. Deptford Church St protected cycle lane – construction post 2021

At the beginning of June we received a very positive response to our letter to the Lewisham Mayor regarding the construction of a permanent bi-directional cycle lane on Deptford Church Street (part of the proposed Lewisham Spine via the A21) after the completion of the Thames Tideway works in 2021. Lewisham Cyclists’ Covid response suggested schemes

As per our last post we have now collated ideas on a wide range of schemes to encourage and facilitate active travel modes in Lewisham during the Covid epidemic, plus providing more space for social distancing while cycling and walking. Cycleway 4 Lower Road Consultation

Work has already begun on the western end of the new Cycleway 4 which will connect Tooley St and the south side of London Bridge to Greenwich through north Southwark and Deptford.
