Sadly, yet another person has been seriously injured on the stretch of the South Circular Rd that runs through Catford Town Centre. At the beginning of June we received a very positive response to our letter to the Lewisham Mayor regarding the construction of a permanent bi-directional cycle lane on Deptford Church Street (part of the proposed Lewisham Spine via the A21) after the completion of the Thames Tideway works in 2021. Work has already begun on the western end of the new Cycleway 4 which will connect Tooley St and the south side of London Bridge to Greenwich through north Southwark and Deptford.
